Online Qlik Training with Ometis

Share:

At Ometis we have endeavoured to connect with our customers as much as possible over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to work from home, and we’re looking to build on this with our new online Qlik training platform.

Lockdown and social distancing guidelines have meant we’ve been unable to provide our training courses in the usual face-to-face format. As such we have adapted our services to offer training sessions online and help users get the most out of Qlik.

These group courses – each led by one of our consultants – will be available to all Ometis customers. Being mindful of the current circumstances, the sessions are priced at a significantly reduced rate of £150 per delegate per course per session, down from our usual rate of £1350.

We will be putting on a variety of sessions to cater to your Qlik needs, from those of you who are new to using analytics tools, right through to advanced users looking to build more comprehensive data visualisations within Qlik Sense.

Analyser

The first course we are looking to offer this month is our Analyser course, for which we can accommodate up to 30 people. If you have a date in mind for which you’d like to complete the course, please get in touch as soon as possible – slots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Analyser course is recommended for anyone new to Qlik Sense as it will provide an overview of how to navigate, select and search for data within it, as well as how to use and build bookmarks and stories within a Qlik Sense app. This course takes place as a three-hour session.

Data Prepare (Data Manager)

This course is designed for users who are new to using analytics tools and/or Qlik Sense and want to learn how to import data for analysis, teaching you the different methods of importing, joining and preparing data within Qlik Sense using data manager. This course also takes place as one three-hour session.

Data Prepare Advanced (Data Load Editor)

Ideal for users feeling more confident than the previous course, these sessions will demonstrate how to build comprehensive data models within Qlik Sense that can be re-used across multiple apps. They will consist of an introduction and step-through guide for importing, joining and preparing data within Qlik Sense using Data Load Editor, as well as a step-through on advanced data preparation techniques and Qlik data object modelling. This course is split over five sessions, each lasting for three hours.

Visualisations

This course is ideal for users wanting to build core visualisations within Qlik Sense. It will provide an overview of each of the fundamental visualisations within Qlik Sense and the build steps involved, as well as the introduction and build of Set Analysis. This is a 7.5-hour course split over three sessions.
