Qlik Sense Tour A Great Success
We were privileged to host the final instalment of the Qlik Sense Tour in the UK last week and I’m proud to say it was probably our best event yet.
I’d like to kick things off by saying thank you to all our panellists, whose Q and A session was the highlight of the day. We were lucky enough to have Nick Seagrave from Gardner Denver, Matt Wilde from Greencore, ForbiddenPlanet.com’s Director of IT, Gary Palmer and Qlik’s very own finance expert, Simon Kirby.
Each of our panellists provided invaluable insight into Qlik by offering their own frank, honest and wholly positive experiences of Qlik Sense, something our attendees really appreciated. I myself was interested to hear their take on the platform and its benefits and there were some fantastic examples of Qlik Sense changing the game.
I’d also like to thank the Belfry Hotel and Resort for looking after us so well. We had the same room as last year with doors opening onto the veranda and a fabulous view of the Ryder Cup’s Brabazon course. The sun was shining once again but the room was cool enough for everyone’s comfort and allowed for some energetic conversations out on the patio during the break.
The day started with coffees and pastries before an entertaining introduction from Neil. That was followed by Andy’s presentation taking a closer look at Qlik’s features, functionality and its ability to enable data literacy, before the Q and A session preceded lunch.
The afternoon was then filled with Chris’ hands-on Qlik Sense workshop, where members of both ometis and Qlik teams helped our attendees unlock the platform’s true potential. That brings me on nicely to my next thank you – which is to everyone from Qlik who helped and supported us both before and on the day.
And my last, but certainly by no means least, thank you goes to all our attendees. It was a pleasure to host you – thank you for coming. I hope you had a fun time and we helped you understand the power of the platform while learning some new Qlik Sense tricks!
Finally, we love hearing your feedback so please let us know your thoughts about the Qlik Sense Tour by visiting this link and filling out the form.
Until next year…
