QAT 2020: Get Registered for one of our FREE Qlik Workshops

There’s only one week until Ometis host the final stop in the UK of the Qlik Analytics Tour 2020 (QAT 2020).

Despite the fact this year’s event is taking place virtually given the current circumstances, we will still be providing attendees with expert insight into the latest Qlik functionality. We will also be hosting a customer Q&A session, giving you the chance to quiz our panel of Qlik users on their use of the Qlik platform on a day-to-day basis.

If you’ve registered for QAT 2020 hosted by Ometis, which takes place on Wednesday 30th September, you already know this (if you haven’t, get a move on! You can register for FREE here). What you might not be aware of is what you can learn about in our two-hour, afternoon workshops. You can choose one of two workshops which will take place after the lunch break – places on these are limited, so make sure to get yourself registered as soon as possible!

Augmented Analytics

One of the workshops, which is hosted by Ometis’ Head of Consulting Services and Qlik Luminary Chris Lofthouse, is a masterclass in augmented analytics. This will demonstrate how Qlik’s augmented intelligence features can help turn data into insights. It will include:

• An introduction to Qlik Sense
• A whistle-stop tour of the augmented intelligence capabilities in Qlik Sense
• Demonstrate how to load and associate data using the Data Manager and create calculated fields without writing any code
• Explain how to analyse and create visualisations with the Insight Advisor and Qlik’s chart assistance

Advanced Expressions & Data Brushing

Alternatively, you can get signed up for our workshop on advanced expressions and data brushing which is hosted by Ometis’ Operations Director Alex Walker. We recommend that guests booking onto this workshop, which is a small subsection of our Qlik Sense Advanced Visualisations training course, have knowledge of navigating around a Qlik Sense app, creating sheets and basic visualisations. Alex will demonstrate some advanced features and visualisations of Qlik Sense, including:

• An introduction to Set Expressions
• Scatter Plots
• Data Brushing
