About Peach Pubs
Peach Pubs started in 2002 with The Rose & Crown in Warwick. The company has grown to twenty-two pubs across towns and villages, ranging from neighbourhood locals to country destinations with boutique accommodation.
Each pub serves as a well-loved local to regulars while welcoming new faces. Peach Pubs has been awarded as a top employer in The Best Companies to Work for, maintaining their founding devotion to "Make Life Peachy."
The challenge
During the pandemic, Peach Pubs took the opportunity to evaluate their analytics capability.
They wanted to ensure they would exit Covid with a modern solution that would drive faster insights and remain competitive in the post-Covid world.
They had an existing investment in QlikView but needed more advanced functionality.
The solution
Peach Pubs chose to adopt Qlik Sense using Qlik's Analytics Modernisation Programme (AMP).
After seeing the new functionality and self-service capabilities in Qlik Sense, they agreed it was a perfect fit for their needs.
We worked closely with the Peach team, migrating existing QlikView applications into Qlik Sense and migrating NPrinting reports to work with the new solution. During the migration, we reviewed and updated the data modelling to ensure the finished applications were fit for purpose.
Applications were developed to be modern in look and feel and easy for users to use, ensuring a high adoption rate. Our consultants provided both consultancy and training to pass on best practice and ensure Peach took advantage of the new functionality.
The results
We delivered a simple transition from QlikView to Qlik Sense while maintaining their NPrinting investment. The improved functionality of Qlik Sense saves the Peach team a day a week.
We passed on best practice to enable the Peach team to become self-sufficient. Users can now interrogate the data themselves rather than putting in requests for the data. This delivered an easier and more user-friendly environment for staff.
