The team here always enjoy a chance to showcase the power of Qlik and the tour’s a fantastic way of sharing the platform’s latest features and roadmap before delving deeper into the functionality with the afternoon workshop.
We’re all looking forward to sharing the latest innovations from Qlik, including its Associative Engine which makes connections in your data that other products miss. It’s also going to be great to hear our customers’ opinions too.
I was proud to hear the feedback from last year’s event which boasted Gary Palmer from ForbbidenPlanet.com on the line-up. This year we’ll be taking a slightly different approach and opening the floor up to a panel of Qlik customers who’ll answer some of your questions before lunch.
This will be followed by a hands-on workshop that unlocks the power of Qlik to create instant visualisations of your data. We’ll then show you how to modify and adapt these visualisations with ease by adding data, figures and ideas.
It all starts with coffees and pastries at 9.30am, as everyone meets, greets and gets settled before we start with the morning presentations. There will be plenty of breaks and a chance to absorb the surroundings before we enjoy, what I have to say, is a fabulous lunch. After that everyone rolls up their sleeves for the afternoon workshop.
One of the best parts of the Qlik Sense Tour for me is watching our Qlik community converge throughout the day. There’s plenty of discussion during lunch and it’s always fun to run the workshop. Everyone’s getting along well by that time and it makes for an entertaining afternoon.
