It’s 12 years in a row now for Qlik being recognised as a BI and Analytics Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant 2022.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant is a matrix which evaluates different business intelligence platforms through the completeness of their vision and their ability to execute that vision. From established names such as Qlik and Tableau through to ones more up-and-coming, the platforms are broken down into Leaders, Visionaries, Challengers and Niche Players.
Gartner provides credible and independent analysis of BI platforms through the above criteria, users are able to make simple comparisons and make better informed decisions as to which vendor they go with.
Qlik allows users the flexibility to deploy on-premises, with any major cloud provider, across multiple clouds or a combination of these approaches. Customers can also utilise Qlik’s full SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offering.
Qlik has expanded its breadth of capabilities using a combination of in-house development and strategic acquisition of companies. The recent acquisitions of Big Squid and NodeGraph will allow Qlik to offer autoML and enhance metadata management features for customers. These have now been rebranded as Qlik AutoML and Qlik Lineage Connectors respectively.
Qlik encourages customers and potential customers to leverage Qlik’s Data Literacy Program to become data literate. QlikView customers can make use of Qlik’s Analytics Modernisation Program to migrate to Qlik Sense for newer use cases. Users can also make use of Qlik’s Executive Insights Center to align analytics to business outcomes.
Beyond these, the launch of Hybrid Data Delivery as part of Qlik Cloud Data Services, as well as the introduction of Qlik Forts and Qlik Application Automation, have resulted in the 12th successive year of recognition for Qlik’s innovation in the BI and analytics space. It’s an exciting time to be a Qlik user and enthusiast, and long may it continue!
